Because it is a spiritual journey, you will need a spiritual risk reduction plan in place. That is where intercession comes in. Spirit-led Strategic Planning is based on a model introduced in Genesis and reinforced throughout Scripture. While it contains elements of what we know as corporate planning, it is upside down, and often, counter-intuitive. Planning with the benefit of the Holy Spirit, sent to “guide you into all truth,” is a far superior method.

Just as we challenged strategic planning, turning it upside down, so do we also learn a radically different way of marketing from the Scriptures. The best marketing models today put the needs and wants of the consumer into the limelight. Marketing God’s way, means creating an environment in which His best for people is the driving force – not simply delighting the customer, but “to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20)
